ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Meet Justin and Perpetual Peprah, founders of JP Cares, Inc. Their journey to establish this non-profit organization was deeply personal, driven by their own experiences of hardship and resilience.
Growing up in Ghana, Justin and Perpetual witnessed their parents struggle to provide for their family. They saw firsthand the devastating effects of poverty, hunger, and lack of access to education. Their own family faced food scarcity, often going to bed hungry, limited access to healthcare, leading to preventable illnesses, struggles to afford education, and threatening their future but Justin and Perpetual's family refused to give up. With determination and community support, they overcame these challenges and migrated to the United States.
A Call to Pay It Forward
Now, as successful professionals, Justin who is an aspiring Psychologist and Perpetual as a licensed Social Worker feel compelled to pay it forward. They remember the struggles their family faced and recognize that millions worldwide still suffer similarly.
JP Cares, Inc. is their response – a 501(c) non-profit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth, single mothers, special needs children, young mothers, widows, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. Through compassionate support, education, and community outreach, JP Cares, Inc. strives to create a nurturing environment that fosters resilience and hope.
